Zabbix Integration with BV Environment Monitoring

BV Environment Monitoring is a dedicated hardware system that expands Zabbix monitoring to the physical environment: temperature, humidity, voltage, human presence, smoke and fire detection, and industrial process values such as liquid or gas levels. In server rooms it also covers UPS systems, air conditioning and leak detection.

BV Grupa ships plug and play preconfigured hardware kits, so the integration with Zabbix is straightforward:

1. Connect the sensors.
2. Power up the device.
3. Use the web GUI of the device to give the sensors meaningful names (for example, "temperature cabinet 2").
4. Download and install the Zabbix templates.
5. Configure the IP address of the device.
6. Everything else is autodetected.
