On March 22, 2012 Riga Technical University (RTU) for the 9th time will host Karjeras Diena 2012 (Career Day 2012). This special event is dedicated to informing university students about the best and strongest companies within relevant industries with an aim to bring undergraduates closer to potential employers.
Every year best Latvian companies are coming together to help students by sponsoring the event. Last year event has gathered together more than 30 companies from different industries such as communications, finance, logistics, software development, consulting, retail, construction, etc., and it was attended by more than 2,500 RTU students. Zabbix SIA has decided to support this year's Karjeras Diena and to take active part by having a booth and making a short presentation about company and it services.

Riga Technical University (RTU) is the oldest university in Latvia. This year it will celebrate its 150th anniversary! Its alumni are world’s famous Nobel Prize winners, architects and even presidents! At the moment RTU has 8 faculties: Computer Science and Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunications, Architecture and Urban Planning, etc.
