Marketing Events Specialist

Location: Zabbix Headquarters, Riga, Latvia

As a part of our team you will:

• Organize and take part in outbound marketing activities and events, including conferences, meetups, meetings, and webinars
• Maintain and update website content related to the event’s activities
• Cooperate with third-party vendors, agencies and company’s partners
• Work closely with marketing team members (designers, content creators, project managers etc.)
• Coordinate event participants (engineers, developers, sales, and other business stakeholders) and manage event agendas from planning through execution
• Maintain and enhance the event planning experience by documenting best practices, creating checklists, and developing processes for continuous improvement in future events
• Choose and order branded merchandise
• Monitor competitor events and activities to understand industry best approaches and apply relevant insights to your work

What we expect:

• Experience in event organizing or in a similar role
• A thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing and market research methods)
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office and marketing software/applications
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A track record of success in a global business environment, preferably in the IT field
• Exceptional writing and communication skills in English

Compensation:

• Monthly salary (gross): 1800.00 to 2300.00 EUR
