The “Zabbix Certified Specialist Course”course is ideal for IT administrators who are new to Zabbix and wish to learn more about deploying Zabbix and configuring monitoring endpoints.
- How long does training last?
Depending on the course, the course length varies between 1 to 5 days. Training starts at 9 am and continues till 6 pm with lunch and coffee breaks during the day.
- How to apply for training?
Once you have selected a course that fits your requirements, you can use the Training Application Form. Once we receive your request, the sales team will contact you (typically within 24 hours during a workday).
- Do I get some materials at the training?
Every student gets the course presentation as well as the lab manual containing the practical tasks and their solutions.
- Where are The Zabbix certified trainings held?

- How many participants can attend one training course at the same time?
Usually, we gather a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15 participants at one training session so all the attendees feel comfortable and can discuss any questions related to Zabbix.
- What do I need to bring to training?
You will receive detailed instructions before the start of the course. In general, you need to bring just a laptop capable of accessing the internet over Wi-Fi. The training environment will be hosted and provided by us.
- Is it essential to attend all four core courses?
This is up to the student.
Zabbix offers a training path designed for participants with different skills and needs.
However, there are requirements for some courses - for example: * If you wish to receive the Zabbix Certified Professional certificate, it is mandatory that you have finished the Zabbix Certified Specialist course and obtained the Zabbix Certified Specialist certificate. - Who are the trainers?
Zabbix Certified Trainers are employees of Zabbix Ltd. or Zabbix Certified Training partners. All Zabbix Certified trainers are highly experienced and have passed the Zabbix Certified trainer certification. In addition to conducting the training, Zabbix Certified trainers take part in designing, troubleshooting and maintaining Zabbix environments on a daily basis.
- What is the official language of the training?
Zabbix certified training courses are held in at least 12 different languages. You can see the full list of currently scheduled training courses and languages in the

- Will I get a document to verify that I have passed the course?
Yes, as a proof of attending and completing the course, every student will receive the corresponding certificate.
- What is an Upgrade course?
Zabbix Certified Training courses are designed with the latest LTS (Long-term supported) Zabbix version in mind. Zabbix Certified Upgrade courses allow you to upgrade your certification to correspond to the latest Zabbix LTS version. Instead of having to retake the whole Zabbix Certified Specialist and Professional course, Zabbix upgrade courses cover just the major changes and new features introduced in the latest Zabbix LTS release. - How can I pay for training?
By bank transfer. We will issue an invoice for your participation upon your request. The invoice should be paid within three weeks after it was issued, but not later than 3 business days before the training starts.
- What discounts can I get?
There are few ways how you can get a discount.
First is by buying course bundle. The core course bundle also grants you one extra exam attempt.
In addition - if there are 5 or more students from one company, then you will receive a 10% discount for the whole group.
- How do I cancel my registration to the Training?
If the attendant
notifies us about the cancellation of his participation in the training course more than 10 days prior to the scheduled start of the training then we will return the paid amount in whole. In case if attendant notifies Zabbix Ltd. less than 10 days prior to training then paid amount won`t be returned and the attendant can take part in Zabbix training when the training will be held next time according to the schedule on the website. In case if participant after registration is unable to attend the training himself, he can send another student instead. It won`t imply any additional charges. The student should notify us about a change of participant at least 3 business days before the start of the training by contacting [email protected] or sending us an application form with new data.
- Can Zabbix SIA cancel the training?
Yes. In case when 10 working days before the training group of 5 people is not gathered Zabbix Ltd. may cancel the training. Please keep this in mind when booking a flight or a hotel. Zabbix Ltd. is not responsible for any expenses that may be caused by this.
- How is the exam organized?
The exam takes place in a form of a test. Depending on the course you will be asked to answer 20, 50, or 70 questions by choosing the correct answer from the multiple-choice list. The result is automatically calculated and will become available right after the exam.
- What are the requirements to pass the exam?
While the ideal score is 100% you can still pass the exam with at least 80% correct answers. Before the exam, the instructor informs students of how many correct answers are required to pass the exam.
- What should I do if I fail?
You will still receive an attendee certificate. If you decide to retake the exam you should contact sales or apply for the exam through the Exam application form. You may retake the exam no sooner than 24 hours after and for an additional fee.
- Who are the extra courses designed for?
The target audience for Zabbix Certified Extra courses are Zabbix users who wish to obtain comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge related to a particular Zabbix feature with the goal of being able to utilize the obtained skills to solve real-life use cases.
