Zabbix Integration with AlertOps

The AlertOps integration for Zabbix uses a webhook media type to receive problem and recovery events directly from Zabbix actions. When a Zabbix trigger fires, a custom JavaScript webhook script sends the event details - severity, host, trigger description and event tags - to an AlertOps API endpoint.

AlertOps creates an incident for every new "PROBLEM" event, applies the configured escalation policy and on-call schedule to notify the correct responder, and closes the incident automatically when Zabbix sends a matching "OK" (recovery) event. Duplicate problem events are recognized and appended to the existing open incident instead of creating a new one.

Setup steps:

1. Create the AlertOps webhook media type in Zabbix.
2. Create a notification user group and user, and assign the AlertOps media type to the user.
3. Create an action with "Send message" operations targeting the AlertOps media type.
