Test Engineer

Ubicación: Zabbix Headquarters, Riga, Latvia

Como parte de nuestro equipo podrás:

• Perform manual and automated testing across Zabbix backend, frontend, and API
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing process
• Design and develop automated tests following established coding guidelines and ensuring coverage of all critical user paths
• Take an active role across the full software development lifecycle - from specification reviews and test planning to execution and release
• Mentor junior test engineers and contribute to shared testing practices
• Maintain a deep understanding of Zabbix features and functionality to ensure correctness and reliability
• Participate in the release process, ensuring the quality and stability of each release

Lo que esperamos:

• At least 2 years of experience in a QA or tester role
• Hands-on experience in API and UI testing, including  validation, debugging, and test design
• Practical experience with automated testing frameworks (knowledge of PHPUnit and Selenium is a plus)
• Strong experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)
• Confident working in Linux/Unix environments and with command-line tools
• Practical knowledge of PHP and SQL
• Excellent communication and collaborative team-oriented mindset
• Good command of technical English, written and spoken

Remuneración:

• Monthly salary (gross): 2900.00 to 3500.00 EUR
