Argentina was the meeting point for the Zabbix Labs Roadshow

The city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, hosted the recent Zabbix Labs roadshow on June 26—a special initiative aimed at technical teams from companies that use or want to implement Zabbix in their operations. This edition welcomed around 60 participants from over 30 companies.

"

Facundo Vilarnovo, Zabbix Trainer and Technical Support Engineer (GST) at Zabbix, led this free, one-day hands-on training session. He highlighted the excellent engagement from attendees and the opportunity to share experiences:

“In these types of events, we—as the vendor—aim to share best practices, discuss how we are evolving, and how to take advantage of Zabbix's features so participants can apply them in their environments with real and practical knowledge,” said Facundo Vilarnovo, Zabbix Trainer.

One of the attendees, Natalia Roig from the company Raizen, shared how she plans to apply what she learned that day:

“I’m very happy to have participated. I discovered some features I didn’t know about—for example, the entire messaging configuration, which I found very interesting. We plan to implement many of those things.”

Facundo Franco, who works in infrastructure and security at Nissei, a company from Paraguay, also commented that one of his goals was to network with people who already use Zabbix and have experience:

“I was very impressed by the technical knowledge level of the participants.”

Zabbix Labs also featured a special session with Gustavo Guido, Director of Custos Monitoring, who spoke about the practical use of the Zabbix API. Custos is a Certified Trainer Partner that regularly offers training sessions in Spanish.

Some of the hands-on activities included:

  • Live demonstration on how to configure integration with Telegram and send real-time alerts
  • Practical session on configuring event correlation with real-life examples
  • Practical examples of how to use the Zabbix API to automate tasks
  • Configuration of PostgreSQL + Timescale with Zabbix and implementation of SSL encryption

Upcoming roadshows—all offering a certificate of participation—will take place in:

  • Belém, Brazil – August 6
  • Bogotá, Colombia – August 12
  • Medellín, Colombia – August 14
  • Brasília, Brazil – August 20
