Zabbix Conference 2026 kicks off with a focus on security and quality
Friday, May 29 — With the participation of more than 350 attendees from nine countries, Zabbix Conference Latam 2026 began, the most important regional event of the company specializing in open-source monitoring and observability.
Conference Latam 2026 was inaugurated by Alexei Vladishev, Founder & CEO of Zabbix SIA (Latvia), who delivered the keynote “Zabbix 8.0: More than a release,” where he introduced the main innovations and capabilities of the new 8.0 LTS version.
“The DNA of Zabbix is quality and security based on an open-source solution,” Vladishev highlighted before a full audience.
During his presentation, he explained that Zabbix 8.0 is built on four strategic pillars: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Complex Event Processing (CEP), Application Performance Monitoring (APM), and scalability.
He also emphasized that this new version includes greater out-of-the-box capabilities, as well as deeper monitoring of cloud environments through extended functionality for public cloud monitoring.
One of the announcements that attracted the most interest among attendees was the evolution of dashboards, focused on improving usability and data visualization. New features include customizable data views, as well as the ability to export and import dashboards more efficiently.
Alexei Vladishev also presented new visualization tools aimed at identifying correlations between different monitoring points through more flexible and intuitive widgets.
“Zabbix 8.0 is not just a release; it is practically a new product given its scope and the level of use it will enable,” he stated.
Launch of new mobile app and Marketplace
During the keynote, the upcoming launch of the new Zabbix mobile application was also announced. It will be available for iOS and Android following the official release of version 8.0, scheduled for the last quarter of the year.
Key features of the app include:
- Instant notifications
- Incident management and collaboration
- Aggregated view of multiple Zabbix servers
- Secure integration with Zabbix and Zabbix Cloud
- Gateway for environments protected by firewalls
Additionally, Zabbix officially introduced Marketplace, a new platform designed to provide greater visibility to partners and third-party solutions.
The goal of Marketplace is to connect the global user ecosystem and centralize information, integrations, and resources related to the Zabbix platform.
