Zabbix Conference 2026 brought together more than 300 people from 9 countries

Saturday, May 30 — Zabbix Conference 2026 wrapped up this year's edition, bringing together more than 350 people from 9 countries in São Paulo. Over two days, 20 presentations, four technical labs, an Open Source Data & Business panel, the launch of new Zabbix products, and several business meetings in the Business and Open Talks rooms took place.

Among the key topics highlighted in the closing presentations were the role of artificial intelligence, automation, and managed services as drivers of the evolution of monitoring and observability in organizations.

The closing session was led by Vladimirs Elsters, Head of Software Development at Zabbix SIA (Latvia), who presented “Zabbix Cloud: Your Monitoring Works, We Run It.” During his talk, he explained how Zabbix Cloud was designed as a fully managed solution to simplify and scale monitoring operations.

Vladimirs demonstrated how this model enables organizations to focus on generating value from data and system performance, while Zabbix takes care of infrastructure management, maintenance, and updates. He also highlighted platform benefits such as reliability, security, high availability, and reduced operational workload, enabling faster deployments and continuous real-time visibility.

In the presentation block, SERPRO participated alongside IOS Informática and Monzphere, presenting the case “Sovereignty and innovation in monitoring with AI at SERPRO.” Leandro Dethloff, Jocemar Souza, Elcio Leite, and Matheus Andrade detailed the integration of ConversAI—SERPRO’s generative AI solution—with Zabbix through a frontend module. The speakers shared the architecture developed, the challenges faced, and the technical decisions made throughout the project, showing how artificial intelligence can strengthen data analysis and operational efficiency in the public sector.

This was followed by Denison Leandro Serrão Soares, Davison Logan dos Santos, and Enne Rebeca Silva from Master Support, who presented “Zabbix Córtex: Artificial intelligence and conversational AIOps in Zabbix.” They explained how the Zabbix Córtex solution incorporates a cognitive AI layer, integrating the Zabbix API with Claude to automate diagnostics, anticipate failures, and enable natural language queries. The speakers showcased results from real environments, where the tool helped reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR) and democratized access to observability within organizations.

Iquall Networks and T-Systems Mexico present success cases in Spanish

The agenda continued with the presentation “From observability to autonomous remediation: Integrating Zabbix with AI-Driven Network Automation for Service Providers,” delivered by Lucas Iglesias, Technical Marketing Manager at Iquall Networks (Argentina). The session addressed the transformation of network operations centers from reactive models to intelligent automation frameworks. Through real production cases, examples of incident automation, automated diagnostics, and post-remediation validation were presented, demonstrating improvements in response times, process standardization, and increasingly autonomous operations in telecom environments.

Meanwhile, from Mexico, Hebert Viveros, Head of Customer Delivery Manager at T-Systems Mexico, presented a case study on SAT Mexico, the government agency responsible for tax collection nationwide. In the talk “Predictive observability with T-Systems and Zabbix at SAT Mexico,” he explained the challenge of reducing costs while increasing reliability and regulatory compliance in an increasingly complex ecosystem. The session demonstrated how to evolve from “seeing alerts” to “understanding the service” through unified visibility, proactive alerts, dashboards connecting technology with operations, and ITSM integration for faster and more efficient responses.

Technical labs: Practical use cases to move monitoring from concept to action

Zabbix Conference includes a dedicated space for Technical Labs led by various specialists. The first was conducted by Facundo Vilarnovo, Zabbix Trainer, who explored how to extend the capabilities of Zabbix Agent 2 through native database queries and the use of Low-Level Discovery (LLD) to automatically generate metrics. In the second lab, Lucas Deolindo, Zabbix Trainer at Selbetti, presented strategies for generating multiple events from a single item using independent triggers and event correlation, thus improving monitoring granularity.

Later, Luciano Souza from IOS Brazil presented a monitoring scenario for multi-tenant SaaS applications, using custom discovery and data collection via APIs and databases, complemented by simulations to visualize anomaly detection and resolution both globally and per client.

Finally, Giovanny Rodriguez from Imagunet Colombia discussed the impact of artificial intelligence on IT infrastructure monitoring, highlighting capabilities such as root cause identification, capacity prediction, real-time anomaly detection, and the generation of optimization recommendations.

Two days of innovation, monitoring, and regional collaboration

With record attendance and an agenda focused on innovation, automation, and artificial intelligence, Zabbix Conference 2026 strengthened its position as one of the leading monitoring and observability events in Latin America.

Over two days, IT professionals, companies, and the entire Zabbix community shared experiences, success cases, and technical labs. This year's edition reaffirmed the Zabbix community's commitment to knowledge sharing, regional collaboration, and the development of solutions that help organizations more effectively tackle the challenges of digital transformation.
