Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Zabbix Headquarters, Riga, Latvia

As a part of our team you will:

• Manage and maintain our core infrastructure, including servers and virtualization platforms
• Work with external infrastructure, hosting, cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure) and setup CDN/Cloudflare
• Maintain and test backups and disaster recovery procedures
• Configure and troubleshoot complex networks, firewalls, VPNs, routing, and load balancers
• Automate manual tasks using Ansible, Terraform, or scripting
• Act as an escalation point for complex incidents and help mid-level admins when needed
• Work with security teams to make sure our infrastructure meets company standards

What we expect:

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, mostly with on-prem setups
• Solid knowledge of networking and virtualization
• Experience with web infrastructure components, CDNs, and DNS management
• Good scripting skills and understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles
• Ability to independently plan capacity and deliver infrastructure improvements
• Automation mindset: scripting + config management
• Proven track record delivering infrastructure improvements
• Good English communication: can explain, document, and align decisions

Compensation:

• Monthly salary (gross): 3700.00 to 4200.00 EUR
