Cybersecurity Engineer

Location: Zabbix Headquarters, Riga, Latvia

As a part of our team you will:

• Perform both Cybersecurity engineering and triaging aspects (at least initially)
• Protect digital assets and systems by identifying and responding to cyber threats
• Build and contribute to management of SIEM / SOC tools
• Manage, incidents across the whole lifecycle
• Participate in internal projects (architecture, assessments, recommendations) and work with cross-functional teams – Infrastructure, DevOps etc.

What we expect:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area of study related to Computer Science, or some certifications within Cybersecurity realm
• Experience in a technical hands-on Cybersecurity role (Cybersecurity engineer, SOC analyst, Information Security Officer etc.) for at least 3 years
• Extensive knowledge in IT security operations, incident management, SIEM/SOC tools, log aggregation, automation, WAF, DLP; IDS/IPS, AV, EDR, Vulnerability Assessment tools, Linux/Windows/MacOS host security and hardening
• Hands-on experience within cloud environments (for example AWS, Azure, Digital Ocean, etc.) and on-prem
• Familiarity with DevSecOps will be considered as an advantage
• High sense of responsibility, ability to maintain confidentiality
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written

Compensation:

• Monthly salary (gross): 3400.00 to 4200.00 EUR, depending on your level of expertise
