DevOps Engineer (Core Systems)

Location: Zabbix Headquarters, Riga, Latvia

As a part of our team you will:

• Build and maintain Zabbix packages for Linux, Windows, and other platforms (RPM, DEB, MSI, pkg)
• Set up and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub Actions
• Publish and maintain Docker containers and cloud images (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Support internal Zabbix environments: upgrades, tuning, configuration improvements
• Automate tasks using Bash and either Python or Go
• Work with system-level components: DNS, SSL certificates, system services
• Assist the Support team with technical implementation questions and turnkey setups

What we expect:

• Higher education in computer science (or related area)
• Strong Linux/Unix knowledge (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu, FreeBSD)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling and pipelines
• Familiarity with software packaging and system distribution
• Ability to read and write scripts in Bash and one of: Python or Go
• Understanding of basic networking, DNS, and certificates
• Collaborative mindset and readiness to work across teams
• Professional English on a very good level

Compensation:

• Monthly salary (gross): 4600.00 to 5100.00 EUR
