Cloud Engineer

Ubicación: Zabbix Headquarters, Riga, Latvia

As a part of our team you will:

• Develop and maintain Zabbix cloud platform/solutions for our customers with the most modern technologies
• Work closely with our development and integration teams to help design and implement cloud solutions
• Educate teams on the implementation of cloud technologies
• Continuously work to improve existing systems and make recommendations based on the product owner and client needs
• Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to deploy cloud-based infrastructure and solutions

What we expect:

• Technical background (university studies and/or related experience):
• Practical experience in the role of a cloud engineer or DevOps:
• Strong knowledge of compute, storage, networking, or containerization and container orchestration services in cloud:
• Any programming/scripting experience (e.g. Python, Golang, Bash, Shell) is a plus:
• Ideally at least 2 years of experience in the field of cloud computing (Azure; GCP; AWS):
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes:
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Ops for complex, productive infrastructures. Experience with Kubernetes, Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible would be considered a plus:
• Any Cloud certification is a plus (but can always be done on the job):
• A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks:
• Curious about what keeps up with the latest trends in design and technology:
• Very good English language skills both written and speaking:
• High sense of responsibility, motivated to work in a dynamic environment, and team-oriented personality:

Remuneración:

• Monthly salary (gross): 3500.00 to 4300.00 EUR
