Zabbix SIA is an organizer of Zabbix Summit 2026, hereinafter – Event, which will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija, Elizabetes Street 55, Riga, Latvia, from October 8 to October 9, 2026.

Zabbix SIA is committed to protecting the privacy of personal data of Event attendees under the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). Zabbix SIA and Event sponsors will each be separately considered as a controller of personal data of Event attendees; therefore, each controller will process personal data under its own privacy policy. Zabbix SIA’s privacy policy is available at Privacy Policy.

1. The personal data collected by Zabbix SIA may include the Event attendee’s full name, company name, email address, phone number, and country of residence, hereinafter – Personal Data.

   Zabbix SIA will share Personal Data with the following entities:

   (i) SIA “3K MANAGEMENT”, registration number 40103179364, registered at Dzirnavu Street 86/88 - 10, Riga, LV-1050, Latvia, a processor of Personal Data, which is contracted by Zabbix SIA to conduct all necessary activities related to issuance of invoice to Summit's attendees for the Summit and which provides Zabbix SIA with scanners for operation of badged access for Summit's events,

   (ii) Swedbank AS, a processor of Personal Data, which is contracted by Zabbix SIA to process payments by Summit's attendees,

   (iii) Riga City Municipality Agency “Riga Investment and Tourism Agency” (In Latvian: Rīgas valstspilsētas pašvaldības aģentūra “Rīgas investīciju un tūrisma aģentūra”), the municipal institution providing public co-financing for the Event, to the extent necessary for grant administration, reporting, verification, audit and compliance purposes.

   Zabbix SIA, as the organizer of the Event, remains fully responsible for the abovementioned activities of SIA “3K MANAGEMENT”, Swedbank AS, and Riga City Municipality Agency “Riga Investment and Tourism Agency” including processing of Personal Data, and Zabbix SIA shall ensure that the Personal Data being transferred to SIA “3K MANAGEMENT”, Swedbank AS, and Riga City Municipality Agency “Riga Investment and Tourism Agency” continue to be protected under GDPR.

   (iv) Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & Spa Hotel, legal name AS VIESNĪCA LATVIJA, (hereinafter – Radisson Hotel), a controller of Personal Data, contracted by Zabbix SIA to provide accommodation in Riga for the period of the Summit to Summit’s attendees that have purchased ticket type Full, Fan, Speaker, Travel Companion.

   Please note that if purchasing ticket type Full, Fan, Speaker, Travel Companion, which includes accommodation provided by Radisson Hotel, your personal data, such as name and surname, your email address, arrival and departure dates and times obtained by Zabbix SIA, will be provided to Radisson Hotel and will be processed in accordance with Privacy Policy of Radisson Group.

   (v) Event’s sponsors starting from the Gold Sponsorship Level, which may scan Event’s attendee’s badge where Event’s attendee allows its badge to be scanned by Event’s sponsors in which case the particular sponsor will act as controller of Event’s attendee personal data.

   At the same time, Zabbix SIA does not ensure that the Personal Data being transferred to Event’s sponsors continue to be protected under GDPR. For more information regarding Personal Data processing by Event’s sponsors please see Section 4 below (Zabbix SIA’s disclaimer regarding badge scanning by Event’s sponsors).

2. Zabbix SIA operates badged access for Event’s events; therefore, Zabbix SIA will collect information about Event’s attendee’s engagement within Event’s events. For Event’s events access will be granted via a badge which holds Event’s attendee’s registration details including Personal Data. Event’s attendee will be required to use the badge to gain access to Event’s events, and Zabbix SIA will collect information about when Event’s attendee enters the Event’s event.

3. Zabbix SIA and the relevant entities will use Personal Data:

   (i) for the purpose of general administration and arrangement of the Event (for planning and logistics, and general administration of the attendance of Event).

   The legal basis for such Personal Data processing is to perform contractual obligations of Zabbix SIA under point (b) of Article 6 (1) of GDPR.

   (ii) to assess the activity of Event’s attendee: Zabbix SIA assess how Event’s attendees move around and engage with Event’s events. Zabbix SIA does this through scanners to be used by Zabbix SIA’s staff to scan Event’s attendee’s badge. Zabbix SIA uses this information for analytics, and to improve and enhance Zabbix SIA’s events. The legal basis for such Personal Data processing is Zabbix SIA’s legitimate interest to monitor the location and engagement of Event’s attendees at Event’s events.

   (iii) to issue invoices and process payments: Zabbix SIA will use Event’s attendee’s personal data to provide opportunity to register for the Event, to issue invoice for the Event Participation ticket and to process the payment. The legal basis for such Personal Data processing is to perform contractual obligations of Zabbix SIA.

   (iv) to register the Event’s attendee to a Radisson Hotel, if they have purchased Event Participation ticket type that includes accommodation: Zabbix SIA will disclose Event’s attendee name, surname, e-mail address, arrival and departure dates and times to Radisson Hotel in order to book a room on the behalf of Event’s attendee, if they have purchased Summit Participation ticket type Full, Fan, Speaker, Travel Companion. The legal basis for such Personal Data processing is to perform contractual obligations of Zabbix SIA.

   (v) for the purpose of direct marketing activities, that is, for offering similar products or services provided by Zabbix SIA.

   The legal basis for such Personal Data processing is Zabbix SIA’s legitimate interest under point (f) of Article 6 (1) of GDPR. The Conference attendee has the right to object at any time to such processing of Personal Data under Article 21 (2) of GDPR.

   (vi) for the purpose of complying with reporting, verification, accountability, audit and other requirements related to public co-financing received for the Event from Riga City Municipality Agency “Riga Investment and Tourism Agency”, including the provision of attendee information where necessary to demonstrate eligibility, participation levels, geographical representation of attendees, proper use of funds and compliance with funding conditions.

   The legal basis for such Personal Data processing is Zabbix SIA’s legitimate interest and the legitimate interest of Riga City Municipality Agency “Riga Investment and Tourism Agency” in ensuring proper administration, verification and accountability of public co-funding under point (f) of Article 6(1) of GDPR. Personal Data disclosed for these purposes shall be limited to the data reasonably required by Riga City Municipality Agency “Riga Investment and Tourism Agency” (first name, last name, country of residence, and company name).

   Personal Data disclosed to Riga City Municipality Agency “Riga Investment and Tourism Agency” shall be limited to the minimum data necessary for the relevant reporting, verification, audit and compliance purposes, shall be subject to appropriate technical and organizational security measures, and shall not be used for marketing or other unrelated purposes.

4. Zabbix SIA’s disclaimer regarding badge scanning by Event’s sponsors. An Event’s sponsor may scan Event’s attendee’s badge where Event’s attendee allows its badge to be scanned by the Event’s sponsor. The legal basis for such Personal Data processing is a consent of Event’s attendee. Thus, when Event’s attendee hands its badge to a Event’s sponsor for the Event’s sponsor to scan, Event’s attendee is consenting to its Personal Data being passed to the Event’s sponsor. If Event’s attendee does not wish for its Personal Data to be passed on, the Event’s attendee should not allow its badge to be scanned. The Event’s sponsor’s use of Event’s attendee’s Personal Data including contact details will be in accordance with Event’s sponsor’s own privacy policy and is not covered by Zabbix SIA’s Privacy Policy.

   Zabbix SIA, as the organizer of the Event, remains fully responsible for the abovementioned activities of SIA “3K MANAGEMENT”, Swedbank AS, and Riga City Municipality Agency “Riga Investment and Tourism Agency” including processing of Personal Data, and Zabbix SIA shall ensure that the Personal Data being transferred to SIA “3K MANAGEMENT”, Swedbank AS, and Riga City Municipality Agency “Riga Investment and Tourism Agency” continue to be protected under GDPR.

   (iv) Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & Spa Hotel, legal name AS VIESNĪCA LATVIJA, (hereinafter – Radisson Hotel), a controller of Personal Data, contracted by Zabbix SIA to provide accommodation in Riga for the period of the Summit to Summit’s attendees that have purchased ticket type Full, Fan, Speaker, Travel Companion.

   Please note that if purchasing ticket type Full, Fan, Speaker, Travel Companion, which includes accommodation provided by Radisson Hotel, your personal data, such as name and surname, your email address, arrival and departure dates and times obtained by Zabbix SIA, will be provided to Radisson Hotel and will be processed in accordance with Privacy Policy of Radisson Group.

   (v) Event’s sponsors starting from the Gold Sponsorship Level, which may scan Event’s attendee’s badge where Event’s attendee allows its badge to be scanned by Event’s sponsors in which case the particular sponsor will act as controller of Event’s attendee personal data.

   At the same time, Zabbix SIA does not ensure that the Personal Data being transferred to Event’s sponsors continue to be protected under GDPR. For more information regarding Personal Data processing by Event’s sponsors please see Section 4 below (Zabbix SIA’s disclaimer regarding badge scanning by Event’s sponsors).

2. Zabbix SIA operates badged access for Event’s events; therefore, Zabbix SIA will collect information about Event’s attendee’s engagement within Event’s events.    (iv) to register the Event’s attendee to a Radisson Hotel, if they have purchased Event Participation ticket type that includes accommodation: Zabbix SIA will disclose Event’s attendee name, surname, e-mail address, arrival and departure dates and times to Radisson Hotel in order to book a room on the behalf of Event’s attendee, if they have purchased Summit Participation ticket type Full, Fan, Speaker, Travel Companion. The legal basis for such Personal Data processing is to perform contractual obligations of Zabbix SIA.

   (v) for the purpose of direct marketing activities, that is, for offering similar products or services provided by Zabbix SIA.

Thus, when Event’s attendee hands its badge to a Event’s sponsor for the Event’s sponsor to scan, Event’s attendee is consenting to its Personal Data being passed to the Event’s sponsor. If Event’s attendee does not wish for its Personal Data to be passed on, the Event’s attendee should not allow its badge to be scanned. The Event’s sponsor’s use of Event’s attendee’s Personal Data including contact details will be in accordance with Event’s sponsor’s own privacy policy and is not covered by Zabbix SIA’s Privacy Policy.
