Overview
Configuration in Zabbix involves specifying which hosts and systems to monitor, defining what data to collect, and establishing how notifications are delivered when problems occur.
Use the sidebar to navigate the relevant configuration aspects.
Key configuration tasks
- Set up a new host or host group → Hosts and host groups
- Define what data to collect from hosts → Items
- Create rules to detect problems → Problem detection with triggers
- Configure how notifications are delivered → Notifications upon events
- Display monitoring data through dashboards, graphs, and maps → Visualization
- Reuse configurations across multiple hosts → Templates and template groups, Templates out of the box
