Push notification
This media type lets Zabbix server send push notifications to Zabbix mobile app on your mobile device.
Configuration
When creating a media type, select Push as its Type:
The configuration form contains common media type parameters, message templates, and options.
The form also shows whether Zabbix bridge adapter is configured.
If the adapter is not configured, you can still create the media type, but it will not work.
After you have created and enabled the media type, add a device for a user to automatically add the media type to that user (or add user media manually). This lets them receive push notifications on their mobile device.
Testing
To test whether this media type works:
- Find the media type in the list of media types.
- Click Test in the last column of the list to open the testing form.
- In the Send to field, select a device.
- Click Test to send a test push notification to the selected device.
A success or failure message will appear in the same window:
